How to Make 100, 200 & 400 px Image Thumbnails on Windows

What it creates

For every selected source image, the current tool creates:

The three files are packaged into thumbnails.zip.

Important: thumbnails are center-cropped

The tool uses a cover-style crop.

It scales the source until the square is filled, then centers the image. Any overflow outside the square is cropped.

That means a wide landscape image loses content from the left/right edges, while a tall portrait image loses content from the top/bottom edges.

If you need the whole image visible with padding instead, this is not the right workflow.

Generate thumbnails on Windows 10 or 11

No desktop image editor is required.

Input limits

The current tool accepts:

Maximum source file size is 20 MB.

Other formats are rejected by the tool even if your browser could display them.

Output format

All three thumbnail sizes are PNG.

The current generator does not let you choose custom dimensions or JPEG/WebP output.

Browser-local generation

The source image is decoded, cropped, resized, and packaged into a ZIP in browser code.

The source is not sent to a ShowPro thumbnail-processing endpoint for this operation.

Normal website analytics, ads, billing, and other networked site functions are separate.
